The prefect night out. The Skirt steak was excellent. 5 Stars. We were entertained by Fusion, the live music while we ate our meal. And we then moved to the Speakeasy lounge bar for the remainder of the evening where Jacynda Ann Ward sung a beautiful collection of songs. The staff were excellent, attentive and very friendly. One of my new favorite places.

About last night...we had the opportunity to check out OVIVI restaurant which is on the outskirts of PPines (3333 N University Dr) between Stirling and Sheridan. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. The food was very good as were the bar cocktails. The restaurant is large with a quiet section and an even larger room with a dance floor, DJ (when they don't have a band) and even a large projection screen showing music videos ( reminded me of those 80's clubs back in the day...lol). The real hidden gem (and I mean hidden) is their Speakeasy lounge with a hidden entrance. It was elegantly decorated and comfortable. Last night they had a solo Jazz musician who was fantastic. He single-handedly played two different saxophones, a trumpet, a flute, a wooden flute and a guitar, covering everything from Frank Sinatra to Billy Joel. One of the Owners, Dylan Razack made it a point to walk around greeting patrons making sure everyone was enjoying their visit. Super nice guy. This place is a gem and worth checking out!

Charred Romaine Caesar Salad review by Sharcolt
While it's difficult to pick just one exceptional dish, my favorite is the Charred Romaine Caesar Salad, which I've ordered with salmon. Prepared consistently to perfection, it melts in the mouth, seasoned just right. It is an unusual dish, as the charred aspect adds something special. It's always a treat, accompanied by a "side order" of efficient and gracious service!

The fish tacos were delicious. They came with soft taco shells and a side of rice and refried beans with avocado and sour cream.

My friend had returned from another international trip and we wanted a local place with great food and music to meet and catch up. We selected Ovivi's because we knew we would have great music, amazing service and deliciously affordable food...and we did! We both ordered grilled salmon with capers and it was absolutely delicious along with the famous Ovivi's brussel sprouts! The music was amazing and between bites of food, people were on the dance floor. We are fortunate that Ovivi's is right down the street so we can go there often! When you visit, be sure to take a peak at their speak easy lounge - it is the most elegant and most beautiful lounge in Broward County!

It was an honor and a joy to order wine in their new New York style " Speak easy bar' lounge: My guest Author Lena Pereira and I were served their superb house wine by bartender Karen. She comes to the lounge with several years of experience She is a fantastic bartender with a splendid personality. Book a party here or just drop in and let Karen pour you a drink! And the bang bang shrimp was spectacular!
